Robotic Mobility Platform (RMP) Design and Manufacturing
Designed a Robotic Mobility Platform through several levels of analysis, beginning with initial sketches, and then utilizing SolidWorks software to create full 3D assembly and engineering drawings. This project was critical in developing a precise and functional design that meets all requirements.
Created first principle analysis and empirical tests to optimize RMP functionality, leading to a lighter, faster, more precise design. The process included rigorous testing and iteration to ensure the highest level of performance.
Learned CNC machine skills while manufacturing the RMP from a given set of raw materials, achieving a final product that completed all necessary functional requirements. This hands-on experience was invaluable in understanding the practical aspects of mechanical design and manufacturing.
